‘Chaurice’ (pronounced Shore-eese) is a spicy🔥, coarsely ground pork sausage. Specific to Creole cooking, this beauty is a descendant of the Spanish chorizo & has adapted to local cuisine (hot & spicy) in Louisiana.
Made with Pork leg, onions, spicy paprika, fresh thyme & parsley and loaded with fresh garlic, these sausages are prepared using a 4 day process including cold smoking with guava wood. ♨️
Chaurice with eggs🍳 makes a good breakfast. Alternatively, can also be eaten as a pan fried side dish. 🍽️
